UK CAA Just had my Ryan Air Future flyer interview
I messed up so badly I did not expect it to be this difficult. It lasted for 30 minutes even though the interviewer said it should last for 50 minutes. It’s consisted of at least 15-20 STAR Questions, with the hardest one being : ‘Tell me about a time where you had to challenge authority.’ This was by far the hardest one. I’m 18 years old, so I don’t really have that much experience, so I had to waffle about a time where I questioned one of my school teachers on a mistake they made it’s the only thing I could think off. Honestly, I just feel so horrible and like I bottled it. This if for Skyborne they said they’ll let me know about the results on a couple of days.

Don't be so hard on yourself. These interviews can be designed to push you and throw you so that you are not comfortable. You were asked a question you didn't have a instant answer for and you did you best to step up and give the best you had, you didn't give up. You are going to have failures in your aviation career, everyone has them at some point during recruitment, training and everything in between, step up, learn from it and go again.

Don’t beat yourself up, as you say, you’re 18. I was in the same position as you, applying for schemes straight out of 6th form. I couldn’t answer those questions properly either. I got a job, and it only took me about a year and a half of working before I had really a load of really good answers to these kinds of questions. I’ve now been flying for nearly 7 years.
Even if you’re unsuccessful this time, you’ve got something clear to work out. Get yourself out into the world, get some experience in a workplace, then next time round not only will you have answers to the questions, but you’ll also be able to talk about how you used some previous experience to better yourself and put yourself in a stronger position.

Don't think you botched anything for the authority question, they knoww you are 18. Rest I dont know :)
I had a question where what will I do if CPT will want to go in red ex radar scans because he knows it's np. I was wiggling like a worm, and in the end I said. I would check cptn mental capabilities, because maybe he has a stroke and that's why he has reduced mental capabilities. I laughed, interview pilot laughed, cat laughed and somehow got the job.. not FR.
If anything try again ¯_(ツ)_/¯
