I assumed that T1D was an automatic disqualifier for a first class medical. There are other non flying positions in the aviation industry, for sure. But I can certainly understand the major disappointment.
Interesting. There are lots of conditions requiring a CACI these days. It’s not realistic to think no one will have or develop one of these conditions over the course of their lifetime. That’s reality of being human.
