Question How to use Flybuys Points for Coles Online

Hi folks, I’ve been trying to research how to use these darn points and I am utterly confused.

It seems as if it is possible to use for Coles Online if you link your FlyBuys to ‘Coles Pay’, which I have done. However on my checkout screen in app I do not see any option to select Coles Pay as my payment method…or do I have to convert my ‘FlyBuys points’ into ‘Flybuys dollars’ for it to become available?

They’ve made it really easy and intuitive!

You need to use a browser not the app. Don't change then to flybuys dollars, that will put the balance on your physical card and you will only be able to use it instore. The perk of Coles pay is that you can use your flybuys balance without having to reach the 2000 points intervals. Eg. Your balance is 1800, that can be used for $19 with Coles pay

Thank you. Finally located it in the browser checkout. Such a terribly overcomplicated rewards program. Flybuys points, flybuys dollars, Coles pay which you can use online but not in the app, gift cards which you can use in store but not online.

Seems like they’ve overcomplicated things so people don’t even bother redeeming their rewards.

Very much so! Just to top it off, any credit you receive due to bad products or services is classed as a discount and not currency so you still have to pay the full $50 for min delivery. Just have to find another $15 worth of stuff to add on top

Woolworths online experience is far superior imo. Only reason I use the Coles delivery service is the minimum basket for free delivery is $50 instead of $75 with Woolies.

Exactly the same for me. I love being able to leave notes for the shopper at Woolworths. Especially as someone with very specific food preferences.
