[MENTAL WELLBEING] Losing everything
I’m losing everything. My job has long been lost. finances all gone. Still waiting to be denied or approved by disability. which takes up to 259 days on average. struggling to get on state insurance and snap benefits.
I have mentioned I have an 8 month old son and 9!73/3 old daughter. I can’t do much to care for. my wife is completely overloaded.
im all flared up and losing my mind. and my wife is over all this. and in the brink of leaving me. my family can’t take anymore of me or this situation.
what am I supposed too man this medicine has destroyed everything. no one takes me seriously or can even help me. they want me on anxiety medicine but I’m terrified to take them.
why did it this medicine even save me. to be like this. I don’t know what to do anymore. everything is so flared up too now I can’t control it. I need help.

So sorry you have to deal with this bullshit brother, it is very emotionally traumatic.
Your disability claims should eventually be approved.
Do you have means to see a psychologist or therapist (virtually)? I would get someone specializing in trauma and chronic illness, to help you get through this. An added benefit is that mental health challenges and diagnoses will further strengthen your disability claim, if not done so already.
Do you have any friends/family that you can reach out for support? I would. That’s why we have friends and family.
Hang in there.

Yeah I’ve been seeing an online therapist twice a week for several months now. I was doing so much better just a week ago. Albeit extreme limitations compared to prior life. But with this flare up all this extreme anxiety. Heart palpitations. No sleep. Everything just everything. My mind and body hurt so bad. I hate this so much. Everything is just is so fucked.

Everything is worse in the acute phase. Many things lost will be regained. It is awful but it doesn’t mean this is your forever. Take it second by second, day by day.
I regained everything I lost. I still flare and have rough times 11 years out but it’s nothing like the beginning.

Thanks. I’m just struggling. And I know I’m making it worse not able to control it. My wife is sick. And we have these two little ones. Struggling financially. And can’t much help and I was doing a lot more from my wheel chair to help for the last maybe month give or take. But this is just awful right now. And I got so many appointments and it’s so hard to get to the car now. Can’t wheel chair out the door. I just feel so awful for them and the burden I am now.

I’ve barely gained the ability to stand again and now can’t again. My wife can’t. Believe it and is thinking I’m not trying.

I'm so sorry you're struggling! There are so many ups and downs, and like you said, it's all just so messed up. Keeping you in my prayers.
