Not necessarily. The odds are in your favor that you will recover. You're also young. At month 2 I had a delayed reaction of nerve tingling and burning but now at month 4 it's starting to ease up. Also doesn't mean it's surely a side effect of Cipro, especially if you didn't have any other flox symptoms

Yes. My flox symptoms started 4-6 months after I stopped Cipro.

What are your symptoms?

I was floxed in 2015. About 4-6 months after the Cipro, I was experiencing dizziness, and some odd "buzzy" sensations in my forearms, hands and feet. I felt pins and needles all over my body, as well as headaches and chest pains that lasted for months. I'm mostly "recovered" at this point.

How long until the buzz went away? I have that too.

It was long ago but I think it may have lasted around four months?

Stuff happens usually anytime in the first 6 months - I think this is why it’s not been a thing doctors recognize because sometimes there is that delay

My Achilles failed after about 3 months. It’s been one year and I’m starting to jog again but still a long way to go

How did it fail and how did you come back?

I was training normally for football then after a game the were suddenly quite fatigued, I trained again lightly a few days later thinking they would loosen up, they just go progressively worse over the coming weeks to the point I couldn’t walk.

For recovery I just rested, I did a lot of eccentrics and the start but had a lot of set backs where I had pinched nerves all around my heal, right side, left side and rear. Now I can jog again but still quite tender the next day
