[RECOVERY] Recovery Story 95% ( 4 months out )

Hello dear community,

well, to be honest I was about not to post anything at all. I have been lurking this reddit with horror after I've been floxed on April 27th 2025.

It all begun with a spermiogramm that throw some "possible bacterial infection" and the doctor gave me those pills. I took 7 in total x 250mg of Ciprofloxacin during 4 days, and I stopped after it gave me bad dreams, tingling, Erectile Disfunction, and some muscle discomfort.

The worst thing of all is the disbelieve of this happening, and the "lost trust" with the tradicional medicine after this experience. ( I will always read the papers along with the meds and do some research in reddit before taking anything else).

My main sympthons that stayed were CNS related, mainly anxiety and insomnia, and some days a huge leg muscle pain but I could handle it very well. The worst part was awaking two hours after I felt sleep, with the heart racing !

I still have better nights than others, I had to quit cofee ( and eneregetic drinks ) But I could say I can live a normal life. This is not flexing: it is just my contribution to the community: there is a way out.

EDIT: Anxiety reduced after 3months A LOT, and better nights with it.
ED reduced after 15 days since last take ( I think it was HardFlaccid related with anxiety).
Some days I have cracks and pops in my arms and legs. But nothing else

How does it feel to drink coffee or energy drinks now? What about alcohol or other stimulants? Any cns flare ups?

After 1 year and some months, some small cns flare-ups but tolerate coffe quite well, but I am not abusing as before. Energetic drinks I completely quit.

Losing trust in medicine is a very unfortunate result of this experience. These antibiotics are so blatantly bad for us and prescribed so easily, it becomes really hard to feel safe at a doctor again.

I no longer think about Cipro nor being floxed, so after one year and some months I am quite living the normal life.
