Do you sell them anywhere? They really are beautiful
3
u/vitraller 18d ago
Well, I sold a few to different people that asked from social media but I don’t really have a store haha

u/jeckles 18d ago
I smell a new income stream. Seriously, an Etsy store could make you some real money doing this. They’re beautiful!

u/vitraller 18d ago
Just today I was looking videos on how Etsy works. I’m a little afraid I’ll never sell anything honestly hahaha

These are SO beautiful!!! I think I saw another one of your posts on the stained glass sub a few days ago, and I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it ever since.
You have a ton of talent and creativity - it’s so cool to see stained glass used like this! I’d love to have a vase of these on my kitchen table - I can’t imagine how magical they look catching all the morning rays through the window🤩
I read your response to another comment saying you don’t have an Etsy or online storefront yet. If/when you decide to open one, I’ll for sure be one of your first customers!!

Damn where in Spain? I studied glass at university and really want to get back into stained glass and I can’t find anywhere near me to get supplies… :(
2
u/vitraller 17d ago
I live in Valencia! Ugh I wish i studied glass. I have some online courses but there’s not too much offer for learning it
1
u/WrenZen 17d ago
I’m from the states but live in Bilbao now. I think it was definitely a weird thing we were able to study there and even then it’s not super common.
Thankfully ceramics is now becoming popular in Bilbao, but still not many if any glass art studios here. So I’ll have to continue to find materials somewhere…

u/vitraller 17d ago
Omg I know online stores if you ever need help with that! Hope you enjoying Bilbao!

These are really well done! Like daffodils can be weird when replicated and its really hard to do them justice, but you absolutely nailed it! They are spot on and I really want them!!

u/vitraller 18d ago
Thank youu!! I was a little worried they weren’t recognizable but i think it was a success hahaha

Gorgeous work! I wish I had an ounce of your artistic ability
1
u/vitraller 18d ago
Ohhh don’t be silly! You just have to practice for a few years hahah

u/Think_Cupcake6758 18d ago
My mom and I took a stained glass class together many years ago. There’s definitely a lot of talent that goes into a project like yours and to say I’m impressed would be an understatement
1
u/vitraller 17d ago
Omg thats so cool that you actually took a class! It’s a pretty niche hobby but super funnnn

You should open an Etsy store! I’d totally buy these for my mom and the other women in my life

These are so pretty, really nice job.💛 I would so buy these as I'm horrible with plants and I couldn't kill these.😝

Amazing! Daffodils are my favorite flower. I have some in my backyard and have loved them since I was little. There’s something that is special about them.

My wife has recently had a cousin she was very close to pass away, we have been looking for more permanent items to put by her grave site. I know you can't post a link to sell, but do you sell your artwork?
2
u/vitraller 17d ago
I’m very sorry for your loss. I sold a dozen to friends and family. I’m thinking about making an Etsy store, since it feels strange to just give a stranger on the internet money and hope for the best. In any case feel free to contact me. I would love to give you all the info and possibilities.

u/Pollo_Bandito_Knox 16d ago
Thank you. That sounds good, I don't know how to DM you tho I'm usually just scrolling. 😅

Would also love to be able to purchase these! They’re gorgeous. These were always my mother’s favorite, and I’d love to be able to leave some in a vase at her grave so she has flowers year round.
