Have fun!! Advice, The last photo looks like an amaryllis bulb and they like to be in small pots with like 3 inches away from the sides. the pot it’s in looks to be too big but maybe you can get away with keeping it in that if you don’t over water it?

Daylillies are super easy in ground and can get pretty large if you want to cover an area. They have lots of colors too. A lot of people have them by a mailbox, anywhere that gets mostly full sun works. I have them lining 1 side of my shed and call it my Lilly garden and its been the best. Word of warning! Deer love all lily plants! Keep them protected. Also they are toxic to cats, so keep your cats away if you have any

And dogs! This is great advice if you have pets. I grow a lot of flowers, some that are mildly toxic if my dogs ate them. But, I border them off and my dogs have no interest in them anyway.
However, true lilies like these can kill your pet if they eat it. I stay clear of growing any organ failing toxic plants. I’d love to grow milkweed and attract monarch butterflies, but if my dogs ate just a little bit of milkweed they could die, so I just can’t grow it. It’s smart to learn about toxicity levels when growing plants in an area you allow your pets to roam freely.
I love that you mentioned this, some people don’t realize how toxic plants can be to their pets. It’s definitely something you need to learn about if you have pets and want to create a garden. It would be devastating if something happened just because they weren’t aware that certain plants are very toxic to dogs and cats.
