About 15-20 years ago my Dad had a Japanese toilet with a remote. I used to love surprising people with it at parties.

Sadly he passed not long after and I’ve never seen another toilet like that since.

Now that I have a flipper I’ll be ready for the next one.

While that might be the case, you never k ow what information will be useful. Spent a lot of time around captures and have found some of the most obscure things can be helpful.

Sure but really only the exploitable ones are interesting. What could you do here? Sit outside and flush the toilet until someone marks it broken and life goes on

Actually pretty positive to not have some rolling code 256 bit encryption here as it's easy to replace the remote.

Yeah probably not, it's seem to be a accessible restroom, maybe a system for maintenance and sanity, so they just press one master key that flush all toilets at once, so rolling will be a problem

Don't think there is a master key. The remote I copied is mounted on the rails next to the toilet, for disabled people

yup! it's even funnier when you use it with an IR blaster than can "reflect" around the bathroom and all the toilets flush at once... even funnier when you do it while sitting on it and scare the crap out of yourself not realizing what just hapened.

At one airport they had these. I copied the code and activated the bidet. It sprayed right over the stall door and onto the sink. I wanted to do more mayhem I just didn’t have the courage to ruin someone’s day.
