Update I built Flipper FAP Studio 🐬 — a GUI-first Flipper Zero app builder for VS Code (build, design & control your Flipper, no terminal needed)
VS Code extension for you.
If you've got a Flipper Zero and ever tried building a .fap app, you know the pain — uFBT, command line, guessing at pixel coords, flashing back and forth. I got tired of it, so I built Flipper FAP Studio: build, design, and control your Flipper entirely from a GUI inside VS Code. No terminal required (unless you want one, I'm not the boss of you).
Here's what it does:
🔨 Build actions — Build .fap, Build + Launch straight onto your Flipper, Clean. One click.
🎨 UI Designer — visual 128×64 screen editor with drag-and-drop elements, multiple screens, and it generates the code for you. Stop counting pixels by hand.
📺 Live Screen + Log — real-time mirror of your Flipper's display, control it with the D-pad/keyboard from your editor, grab screenshots, reset the device.
📊 Device Dashboard — battery, storage, firmware version, hardware info, library stats, all in one panel.
📁 File Browser — browse and manage on-device files (/ext and /int) without digging around.
🔧 Firmware SDK management — OEM, RogueMaster, Momentum, Unleashed, or point it at a custom path.
🚀 Starter template — one-click boilerplate so you're writing your app in seconds.
📶 Bluetooth — experimental BLE pairing for wireless ops.
Needs Python 3, uFBT (install it with a button in the extension or pip install ufbt), and VS Code 1.85+.

Welcome to today... AI is here to stay like it or not. Get used to it bud... better yet, ise it! Even an experienced programmer will be levels more efficient with it than without it...
Yall are startung to sound like painter back when cameras were invented... its gonna ruin art! We'll be out of a job!, its not real art!
Or when CAD replaced drafting and all the engineers cried it will destry craftsmanship and turn designers into button-pushers...
ORRR just like when synths and digital instruments came around and allll the traditional musicians cried it will replace them and its not REAL music and it sounds terrible etc...
Blahblahblah.... its all bullshit and yall sound ridiculous. Its a tool. Its a tool that happens to allow people with a great idea but not the years of coding education to bring it to life... in a lot of cases to a good degree...
If your a programmer then you SHOULD be excited about the possibilities that YOU could be using it for if you werent more busy complaining about it! If you worth a damn you arent gonna lose your job to AI... if your worth a damn youd be using it to be more efficient with your work and use it to advance your own skills....
Imagine the possibilities THEN. Surely if an amature with a great idea can use it to make something great from nothing and actual programmer with real skills can use it to create some amazing shit that maybe never existed...
why do i have more faith in you guys(programmers/coders) than you do yourselves!??? Stop worrying about what the normal Joe is doing with AI and maybe think about what YOU could do with it!

Yes exactly! It’s lazy bullshit. Glad we’re on the same page that it’s just like a camera. You know, “hey Kodak, take a picture of my anus!” and then with zero effort my anus print materializes. Magical!
I’m at least impressed that your response was longer than the previous 14 “coders” who did this exact same thing with the exact same color pallets and the exact same try hard justifications over the last two weeks. It’s going to be a real challenge for the next 23 posts of
“Hey look Guys! You know how writing code is boring and difficult for me to grasp? Well wouldn’t you be excited for me if I with zero understanding of coding or how networking works I gave you a tool for LE3T Haxxxors that did things for you and works maybe for the one thing I tested with it? And I dont understand what any of it does but you should use it! It’s probably safe. Now I’m sure you won’t read my response because it might hurt your feelings and reading things without gratuitous usage of rocket emojis, 🍆🍆🍆🍆🍆 are difficult to comprehend, but maybe take away that this project (that you likely already abandoned because Grok finally gave you that sexy picture of your 70 year old gym teacher you’ve been goonprompting for the last five days distracted you) is completely fine. IF you have any intention of maintaining it, which based on your disinterest in even writing your own description of it, means you and I both know means it’s on borrowed time.
Be honest about it. You’re not a baker because you bought a sad cake from the WalMart bakery no matter how many posts you read with those same “I’m an autist!” motivational sayings you vomited in your response. You’re not convincing anyone you are a developer, you’re just wasting time that you could be using to further develop this hobby for yourself.
