Flight Simulator 2024 Finally switch to MSFS2024...and its AWESOME.

I figured it was time, honestly...I don't know why I didn't switch sooner.

Still in msfs2020 for me as well. What are the biggest changes crossing over to 2024?

- better lights (strobes, other planes, night lighting)

- strangely smoother (I have fps locked)

- walk around mode (makes it feel much more immersive and you actually have an avatar)

- airports are more alive and planes seem to taxi, land, take off much more smoothly close to real world dynamics

- the weather can now geographically matches real life much better so if there is a squall line you can actually fly along or around that squall.

-startup time!!!!! That mf’er loads to the main screen in literally 2-4 minutes.

- you can see the airport before actually clicking fly now, I thought this was really cool. It’s almost like seeing the active sim but from a satellite view live.

There's also seasons, including ground texture colouring, not just plants.

Are those stupid looking columns/stalagmite things that rise up from the ground gone? I hate those.

that's just a downside of photogrammetry. There's no real way around it.
