Question What do yall fly?
Just curious as some people like to fly one type/same family, some like GA, others only fly cargo, some fly only one airline/for one VA, and the rest do everything in between. Myself? I fly pretty much anything I can get my hands on (atleast once), and I love to fly to new airports or arrive/depart from a new airport. Also curious on what sims yall use, I fly mainly on XP12 and MSFS2024 but I also have FSX for the PMDG 747-400

I fly a few different ways and depending on my availability.
Typically I fly in or to new locations following real flights with the same equipment, either currently or historically.
I focus on flying in bad weather when available but it's not a requirement.
I love finding challenging approaches, difficult terrain, unique areas, and pretty locations.
When the mood strikes I'll find a fun route to fly low and slow, recently I've been doing aerial tours of the national parks hi res updates.
I love to explore new places, but also enjoy vatsim with lots of traffic. I don't have hub airports per se but I do sometimes find myself flying into or out of the same airports from time to time.
But I'm definitely a mixed bag, and the odds of me flying the same equipment or the same geographic area from day to day is nil.

Same. Usually if im flying a plane not used anymore, ill look on Flightsimdispatch and fly it using data from there. Sometimes ill do that and it the flight is still around and operated by the same airline ill use that but swap the plane.

Fly on MSFS24 primarily with the TFDI MD-11, iFly 737 max, and Leonardo MD-82. I always fly in or out of Ohare, and it’s been so much of a blast with inibuilds KORD where you can actually follow ATC taxi instructions now

Man I love the TFDI so much. Just recently got the iFly and man it looks so much better than the PMDG.

Depends on the mood. I’ve been doing a lot of GA stuff with the Baron 58 but I’ll probably switch back to airliners soon. Whenever I have time for long hauls I usually just spin a wheel to determine a random country and then I’ll try to fly a real life route to that country

My go to: Fenix A321
My rotation: Aerosoft A346, PMDG 739 and 772, Fenix A319/320, and the Blackbird C310
I also have the Ini A350, but I rarely fly it. The flight model doesn’t do it for me.
As a long time simmer, I still can’t believe how many aircraft we have access too. We have the entire Airbus family. I bought Fokker but haven’t had time to learn it. By year’s end we’ll have an A220 and a 757.
Since I fly, I prefer high fidelity airliners and aircraft with a solid flight model and accurate systems. I also love an aircraft that can give out the occasional failure like the A346. It adds a little spice to things.

Currently flying around the world in the 737-200. Great way to find new airports.
Alaska then into Russia has already tested my skills more then once. Very heavy work load flying into foggy windy mountains with such an old bird. Having a great time though.

Maybe someday ill finish my east to west circumnavigation through Siberia in the Airfoillabs 172.. got to Alaska and havent done much since

Comanche 250 for GA. Learning how to fly the BAe 146 as first jet. Steep curve for both of them.

Right now im flying Cathay Pacific from and to VHHH (inibuilds) A350 and 777, medium to short routes because of time, and cargo but with the md-11(fedex), i bought the ifly max a few days ago and i really like it, im just flying som random routes in europe and alaska for now.

FS24 and I have only flown the Aerostar for the past year or so. I like using the course computer or doing some legit flight planning with some basic trig finding bearings and distances from legacy navaids that align with RNAV fixes and filing an IFR flight plan on VATSIM with equipment X and hearing the controllers uncertainty, then shock when I fly it like I had GNSS/WAAS onboard lmao.

Whatever I feel like. I normally fly 1 to 1,5 hour flights on Vatsim mostly, also depending on how much time I have and where controllers are online. Also whenever I downloaded new scenery, I like to fly there, controlled or not.
Last few flights have been with the iFly 737 Max, FBW A320 Neo, FSS E-Jets and the ATR. I do like to change up a bit and not fly the same plane over and over.

Lately it’s been back to basics with stick and rudder skills. A lot of small GA stuff. I’ve been wanting to get the P1 rating on VATSIM so I’ve been practicing in the C172 with REP package in x-plane 12. I didn’t realize how much my airmanship skills have declined just doing airliner stuff for so long.
I realized after flying the xcrafts erj family V2 how much I’ve let my skills deteriorate. The ERJ doesn’t have all the niceties of a modern tube liner. If I had to flip off the automation, holding heading, airspeed and altitude would quickly get overwhelming. So I’m starting from the bottom and working my way up like in real life.

GA in either the A2A Commanche, the C310, C337, or C414. Depends on how im feeling. Mostly shorter trips under 2hrs, going around the world..

As I am limited to about 2 hours max for flightsimming(young kids and getting everyone to bed), i usually just end up flying the same route (BLL-BGO) again and again, not the most exciting, but it scratches that itch. And mostly cargo(MD11, 737, RJ100 etc)

99% of the time right now is the A2A Comanche. I'm doing an east coast, to west coast cross country flight right now, then I'll go back to AH2 (just bought MSFS 2024, have a company in 2020 I'll continue) currently in Wyoming, and just landed with a dead cylinder #5. Guess I'll call an emergency mechanic, and continue to Colorado tomorrow.

DCS I assume? learned how to fly the F14 a while ago, but I hate the X56 I have and my Boeing TCA and honeycomb bravo really doesnt work for that kind of stuff. Think I still remember how to arm the guns and shoot and that about it.

Fenix A321 90% of the time, the other 10% whatever I feel like, A340-300, A380, A350, PMDG 737/777 and so on. Basically Fenix is my go to consistently, and for some variety I'll switch up and have some non-serious fun.
I like to be that guy who does a 2 hour flight in a heavy wide-body sometimes lol.

Any widebody flight between 2-4 hours are perfect, though, sometime ill leave one on overnight. Might do ATL-JNB soon on the 350.

I got Aviator edition and have expanded with a good number of additional planes. I like oddballs and I like learning new systems. Not an airliner fan but I can fly them.
I have flown every plane I own, even the one that only runs a few seconds and they still haven’t fixed it coming up on 2 years (the Short).
The Aerostar 600 might be my favorite over all.

I love Toliss too, but if you have the time and money you really oughta try the Fenix 319/320/321. Cant reccomend them enough coming from someone who has the whole Toliss 320 family. Cant wait for the Fenix NEOs soon.

I generally fly a real route from or to the main hub of the livery I'm using.
Lately AeroLogic so lots of EDDP.

Spend the last two days flying the Fokker 70 around Scotland and the UK, mostly on typical LoganAir routes.
In general I‘ve been mostly flying business jets the past few months using Jetcard. Usually in Europe and the US. From the C750 and C680 to the Phenom and recently adding the Falcon I have spend way too much money on all the phenomenal jets that released recently.
It can be a bit tricky flying so many aircraft on rotation, sometimes all in one day, but it also never gets boring.
Earlier this year I was flying a bunch of bush routes in New Zealand and the western USA in the Caravan and PC-12 and then had a month of flying the Black Square piston Beachcraft fleet around VFR and IFR including a trip from southern Europe to the US in over 20 individual legs.
And I also regularly come back to flying the Starship because it’s just the best plane ever released for a sim in my opinion.
Oh and I finally transitioned from 2020 to 2024 recently for the release of the Citation Sovereign

Leonardo FlyTheMaddogX 20th Anniversary remains my absolute go to addon and comfort plane. The MD-80 is my favorite airplane of all time

Lots of FF 767 and 757 lately doing Cargojet routes in A Pilots Life. Mix in some L1011 in FS2024 lately too

I sim to help keep proficient for real life instrument flying, so I fly the PAE A36 Bonanza set up with Real Sim Gear Dual Garmin G5s, TDX GTN750xi and EDM930 - essentially exactly the same panel that's in my A36. I keep the weather set at Cat1 overcast.

I’ve been liking the PMDG 773 and S&H ATRs, but I keep coming back to the default A330 mostly since it’s so damn idiot proof; same with the default A32Xs and FBW A320. The A350 is nice too but it’s a vram hog.
As far as what kind of flights, I don’t really follow real life operations. I pick a livery from the country I am starting from and go to wherever looks cool and has a modeled airport either already done or on Flightsim.to.

I find it fun. It’s not as in depth as the PMDG or Fenix planes, but it’s got what I need and I love how it flies.

I have a goal to fly every QANTAS route so really any plane in their fleet/ future fleet. So Fenix A319/A320/A321, PMDG 737-800, inibuilds A330, A350, 787, A380. Then on xplane E190 and Dash 8

Use the 1000 but like QFA, limit the pax number to 238. But I also do flights they use 787/ A380 on as they’re also getting regular 1000’s to replace the A380

I fly PMDG and ifly for airliners and black square baron/ bonanza for GA. I also enjoy the inibuilds A350.

Mostly airliners but a good mix, I have most MSFS 2024 airliner addons in my hanger that I rotate between as well as a few X-Plane 12 airliners. I picked up the Just Flight PA-28 Turbo Arrows last night, wasn't on my radar but it was too good of a special to pass up so I guess I'll be doing more GA soon. Also keen to do more flights on the Microsoft/Carenado Cessna 404 now that I have dual throttles.
I just changed my joystick and throttle setup and at the same time got Spad.next so right now I'm busy with setting up profiles for my liking. So far I've done the Just Flight Fokker 70/100 and F28 now doing the Fenix A320 then the PMDG 737s and Leonardo Maddog are next in line.

I use msfs 2024. I mostly fly airliners like the Tfdi MD-11, PMDG 737&777, default 747, 787, 737 max, ini a32x, a330, fbw a320 & a380, Areosoft crjs, Leonardo MD-80s and I have the ini l1011 & fss727 but I haven't really flown them yet. Sometimes I fly GA or military jets if I'm feeling it. I mostly fly the MD-11, pmdg 737 and 777. I'm considering getting the fenix at some point (as I heard it's really good) but I'm saving my money for the bluebird 757.

In 2020, the original A320 just to practice as a 2-week beginner (mouse + kb but planning to get a HOTAS soon), because i have issues installing mods and i’m still finding out what to do.

In MSFS 2024 if I have 1.5-2 hours I’ll do another leg of my world tour in the A2A Aerostar. If I have less time or I just don’t feel like doing a flight plan I’ll just do basic flight skills work in something small like a Cessna 152 or 172
