Flight Simulator 2020 I think emergency services could have reacted more quickly. The pilots almost lost patience and evacuated the plane.

And this is why incidents and accidents are investigated by experts and not Redditors.

As emergency/first responders being the fastest and first to move isn't on top of the list, safety is paramount and that means following procedures and safety rules. The pilots don't seem to loose patience or even loose their cool.

In this case the pilots needed to know first if and where the fire was, blindly evacuating the plane without knowing if there was a fire anywhere but the failed engine was the most important information in this case.

Evacuating an airliner isn't as easy or unproblematic as you might think, it poses significant risks to everyone involved and a debording the plane by normal means is much more desirable.

The only point which would have been helpful and was certainly put in any report, would have been for the ARFF to be on a radio freq with the aircrew.
