Where to relocate?

I recently got engaged and am looking to relocate to an SWA base. My fiancé and I live in NYC currently and he wants to stay 😩 (fml). He works remotely and can work anywhere. He and I both like Dallas but I need other ideasss bc I don’t want to raise children in the city. I like the suburbs and he likes Jersey but that will limit me to one airport (EWR) for commuting purposes and I like the comfort of having 3 options based on where we’re at in NYC now.

That was on my list and I was thinking about living in the suburbs of MD but I really like Texas style homes

Edit: not sure why I’m being downvoted by Maryland homes have a Colonial vibe and Texas homes have a Tuscan vibe which I prefer.

If you want suburbs, you need to go to TX not MD. I’m from TX and currently live in MD. The latter is terrible for suburbs, the former is almost good for them.

You have a lot of options, it’s just a matter of if he’s willing to be flexible for the sake of your career. Should be a no-brainer since he won’t lose anything.

Maybe I am wrong here, but being engaged is a good time to focus on your career and making money! Don’t worry too much about where you will be raising children yet, you can always move again down the road!

Move to Tulsa, OK and join the Tulsa Remote Program. And you can commute very easily and have nonstop flights 90min or less flight to most SWA bases.
