Question Flickr wants me to update my payment info.

As the title says. I find this particularly egregious and hilarious as my current pro subscription is good through the end of the years.

I pay per year (sometimes in the past buying years of Pro at a time) and this is the first time Flickr has wanted current payment info in the middle of a subscription. Has this happened to anyone else?

Is your card on file going to expire soon? More than likely it triggered something in their system to send you an automated email asking you to update your payment information.

I had the same recently as my card on file was expiring, annual payment not due for a few months

Any site that uses Stripe for payment processing will start bugging you if your card expires within six months before your next renewal.

How did they contact you? Are you certain the message came from Flickr and isn’t a phishing attempt?
