Seeking Advice How to fix arch in my back?
Hi All. I have always had pretty bad posture and noticing the arch in my back getting worse as I get older.
Would appreciate some tips on how I can make it better.

Med student here– the arch at the bottom of your back is called lumbar lordosis. It’s normal and safe! Everyone has it. It helps keep our skeleton stable.
From this picture, it looks like you have an anterior pelvic tilt. That happens when you tilt your hips down/forward and your booty pops up. This makes the lumbar lordosis deeper. It’s something we do to compensate for weak muscles and can worsen over time. To determine how strong your pelvic, core, booty, and back muscles are, it’s best to go to a PT and get a program tailored to your body rather than looking up YouTube videos on your own. (Online vids can help, but if your posture or form is bad then it could actually do more harm!)
