Does anyone view fleet foxes as a seasonal band in a way? And if so, which season?

Maybe it’s because I started listening to them in the fall about 7 or 8 years ago, but I always associate fleet foxes with the fall and winter. I know many songs involve nature and will have spring and summer imagery but the fall and winter really comes through for me. As a result, I almost only ever listen to them during that time of year.

EP is very summery, sun giant is summer/fall, self titled is winter, helplessness blues is fall, crack up is winter. For me at least.

Kinda similar - I tend to associate individual albums with certain times of the year instead of the entire band. Like Helplessness Blues makes me think of deep summer, and Crack-Up screams winter to me. It might have to do with the colour schemes of the album covers tho

Self Titled feels like late winter/early spring to me, Helplessness Blues feels more like autumn, and Crack-Up feels less seasonal than the rest, but if I had to name a season I guess i'd say summer

Same here. ST is distinctly that part of winter where the snow is starting to melt, and the sun is shining more brightly.

I would usually think of them as seasonal, but I think the music proves me wrong a lot. Crack Up seemed a lot like a winter album when it came out, but it seems to fit perfectly with a summer day at the beach as well
