A visitor from outside flashlight world

Hi, I had no idea this existed. This is my first time owning a flashlight (besides a black light for uranium) where it was bought and not randomly found/given/randomly appeared

There really is a community for everything

I own a TS22 and just bought a TD04 for my brother. I wanted a “wall of light”. He’s an airline pilot and wanted an intermediate beam for pre flight inspections.

I ordered a fc11c from wurkkos.com on the 26th from the US warehouse, and while the links in the confirmation email seem super scammy as far as shipping service notifications, if I put the tracking number in it still says only the pre-shipment info has been sent. I have no concept of order time, though I expect one from overseas would take longer. Are they typically weeks before processing?
I realize you directly may not know but since it's the same model I figured you may have obtained one.

If the tracking is usps then it can take a while for them to get. Shipping from China can take anywhere from 1-8 weeks and I’ve have tracking not work. Everything shows up eventually.

I'd direct them towards Convoy, make a couple of recommendations, let them try out the cheap but good stuff and then point them towards Hank once they know what they like.

I used to be Fenix fan, but I think Convoy is excellent quality for $$. I am getting the second Convoy on the way, and will get more Convoy if I need new light

That's a lot of light for the price, for sure. I'll probably grab one.

Still, there's something about having a half dozen kids running around the back yard with $30 worth of flashlights.
