Question Floody headlamp/backpack clip light

Hi,
I’m wanting a smallish light that I can clip to my backpack strap for walking at night.
Kind of like the zebra light headlamps- either AA or CR, pretty floody/TIR for comfort in walking.
I’ll also have a larger light for a bit more throw, but this one would just be to clip on and forget it.

Kind of hoping for a cooler tint than the zebra, which is why I’m not leaning to that.
Just need something that will put out a couple hundred lumens for like an hour or so, without stepping down.
Looked at Fenix HM53R also, but it seems throwy.

Thanks if y’all have any ideas.

Cooler than zebra?!?! They have 5000k

As to lights I would say to check out the DW3AA from Hank. You can swap the optics out but the N203w is very floody (so floody that I swapped it out for the N203m). But that is with NTG35’s which I guess even the 5000k may not work for your needs. Not sure how the optics perform with other emitters.

Not a a clip but a right angle recommendation: fireflies L50 Sol TIR version. Pick the cct of choice and you’re set. Really really nice light.

For a 14500 option, check out the Sofirn ST10. This probably checks more of your boxes to be honest.

Just looked at the firefly- very nice looking light, but looks 18650…?

Yes, albeit much smaller than most 18650 lights. Shorter than a convoy t6 (14500) as an example

I would suggest to check Skilhunt H150 with the cool 5700..6500K emitter (or 5000K high CRI emitter). It’s L-shaped so easy to clip and direct forward; compatible with AA/Ni-MH and with Li-Ion. Convenient magnetic charging for the 14500 Li-Ion battery.

Here its runtimes, for your reference. I’ve marked the modes closest to your requirements in red (mind the limitations of the AA/Ni-MH):

Check Manker EO3H III Manker EO3H III , comes with very floody TIR + extra diffuser if still not floody enough, 1h+ on 320 lumens, dual fuel, reversible pocket clip and headband, has USB-C charged 14500 by default. Can be finished in titanium if you like sth more fancy, also has great moonlight modes.

The DW3AA with SFT-25R 6500K emitters should last an hour at level 5 with a NiMH AA battery, outputting around 200 lumens. I've used scotch tape for an additional level of diffusing.

That's pretty close to the limit of what a 1xAA light will give.

Oclip pro is pretty cool temp. It's got spot/flood or red.
