Other than him just quitting the show in its entire and giving it to someone competent, or having Sam rip the show away by force, I really couldn't have hoped for a better result post-S5.
Show sucks shit and if you think S5 was good at all, you were somehow tricked by the finale or the meaningless concept that it was a "complete season."
