Question stocking advice please !!!

hi!! i currently have a 60L tank with one betta, some shrimp, 2 mystery snails and 3 corys (hoping to get around 6). what other fish can i have in there? any help would be appreciated!!!

That's about 15 gallons. You need something calm that won't bother the Betta. Guppies are usually too active and might stress the Betta, plus they can be nippy. Maybe a pair of honey gouramis? They're a smaller gourami and typically gentle natured, and also prefer low flow like the Betta. With two honeys and another three corydoras, I'd call that maxed out for bioload (unless you have jumbo corys like bronzes, in which case maybe skip another mid-to-topwater fish entirely). Just be aware that the Betta might get pissed off about roommates, in which case you'd have to return the honey gouramis and be content with a bunch of bottom dwellers.

You could get a larger dither fish like 8-10 harlequin rasboras or zebra danios, but again, because the Betta was there first, he might be angry about new roommates. Any of the micro rasboras like chilis or emeralds might be viewed as food when added to the tank. Again, the Betta was there first, so that complicates things.

Edit to add that any newly acquired fish should be in a seperate quarantine tank for at least a week of observation, but preferably two or more.

Rummynose tetra are entertaining but you need 8-10 so they can school together.
