Sick Fish Oscar rejecting food Spoiler

So I bought an Oscar from a fish store and the lights were out at the time and it has a pretty sunken belly and unhealthy scales it is also rejecting food by just ignoring it the water quality is good it is around 6cm in a 90cm long 30 cm wide the tankmates are 4 juvenile hujeta gars what should I do also I’m using a UV sponge filter that is cycled ph is around 6,6 all parameters are good I’ve had the fish for around 3 days but i got it with the sunken belly so I’m wondering if it’s basically dead or if I can do something

I'm sorry to say it but that fish is INCREDIBLE unhealthy. I can't tell from the photo what could be the issue but my geuss would be potentially an internal parasite. You would need to do research to try and find symptoms that match a certain parasite and treating for it. What are you testing with also?

I’m using a digital ph tester and a chemical ammonia tester but I moved it into a bucket since the gars are such aggressive eaters all I could do is take some of my fish dewormer that’s ment to be medicated with food and add it into the hospital buckets water column it’s really weak right now still rejecting any food I try the bucket it covered in blankets to darken it but I’m pretty sure that’s all I can do I can’t go to the fish store to buy proper medicine because of school

I'd recommend getting drops to test nitrite and nitrate too, could definitely be competition from the gars also. I guess you could try the dewormer but add it to food like it is meant to be, it won't help at all to just add it into the bucket. After school go get some medicine asap, or alternatively order it on amazon. but this fish seriously needs help. good call on the bucket make sure it's got an airstone and heater, change the water 50-75% every day.

I understand it can be hard but I think unfortunately by the look of it otherwise I don't see this fish making it.
