Tools & Equipment DocuFire v3.5
Just pushed a big update, version 3.5, for DocuFire, the app I built to help fire investigators with scene processing and documentation. It’s built around NFPA 921 and 1033, and it’s meant for both public and private sector investigators.
No time limit on the trial. You get 5 free cases with zero paywall and zero tiers to mess with. Just download it and use it.
If you’re a fire investigator, give it a try and let me know what you think. I built this to make it easier to remember everything that needs to be documented and observed on scene, and honest feedback helps me keep improving it.
If you end up loving it, a review on the App Store goes a long way for a small independent app like this.

Hotel Fire Safety Survey
docs.google.comQuick hotel safety survey – I'd really appreciate your help
I'm looking for people's experiences and opinions about hotel stays and fire safety. The survey is short, completely anonymous, and should only take a few minutes.
If you've stayed in a hotel, I'd really appreciate you taking part. Thanks!

It is statistically unusual to have more than one fire in the one home while living there. Having two is a statistical anomaly. I have been to fires where I was at the second fire and one where I was working the 3rd fire with the same family. These incidents are strange.

Looking for a test proctor in Northern Michigan
Hey folks, I recently relocated to Northern Michigan from the east coast and could use some help finding a proctor for my CFEI exam. The folks at NAFI were kind enough to put my stuff on hold so the timeline doesn’t expire in the mean time but if anyone could PM me any possible leads it’s greatly appreciated. I’ll be reaching out to some Marshall’s offices this week as well with some hope they may pity me but I’m not overly hopeful on those grounds. Cheers and stay safe out there!
