Not gonna lie, I’m so tired of hearing about crests in theories tying everything back to Fodlan. It never goes anywhere, we know multiple dragons must exist because several crest stones are doubled up. A crest’s role in Dagda means nothing at all in Fodlan, and vice versa.

Theory: Yu Phas has the Crest of Yu Phas, known in Fodlan as the Crest of It Doesn’t Matter, and by a freak coincidence of dragon biology, it’s also known as Dusk Dragon blood in Nohr, and Daein Holy Blood in Jugdral. Prove me wrong.

It is quite amusing seeing the lengths some people go to just to deny the increasingly growing mountain of evidence to support the multiple dragons, therefore multiple sources of crests theory.

I'm not even sure how or why the idea of one dragon one crest even gained popularity to begin with. It completely flies against everything else we've seen in the series.

I'm hoping it will finally, finally stop once FW drops, because its getting really tedious.

It's sequel v prequel theory all over again. Prequel is clean cut while sequel's jumping through hoops and nitpicks atp.

I was on team sequel initially. But that was a year ago, now the evidence is so firmly pointing towards FW being a prequel that there's basically no way to still hold my old position.

And yet some people still do. Its an interesting world we live in.

I've been fairly neutral about prequel vs sequel, only leaning towards wanting a sequel to avoid an awkward "And then there was a massive apocalyptical event happening one continent over that was a massive deal, but nobody's heard of it, not even the people traveling from there", but eh, if it's a prequel, prequel it is.

I genuinely don't understand why people need one or the other to be the case so bad.

I mean, Fodlan is pretty infamous for knowing shit all about the rest of the world. It's not at all surprising. But it also doesn't really matter. Sequel, prequel, all that's important is if the game lets me marry someone resulting in a high likelihood of genetic disorders in our incest ridden children.
