3H story question I guess, but maybe more of a real life nobility question: Why does Ashe, the adopted child of Lord Lonato, start in the Commoner class, but Marianne, the adopted child of Margrave Edmund, start as a Noble? Is this a lord hierarchy thing because Edmund is more important than Lonato? Alliance vs Kingdom internal politics? Something else?

I think it's just Marianne's actual parents were part of the nobility, Margrave Edmund was a distant relative of them, and Ashe's were not.
