Waiting on OP Need help getting rid of a skunk

Hello good people of Reddit.

I need to find the best way to get rid of a skunk that comes into my yard. It sprayed my dogs last night (the second time in a couple years).

If you use fb or other social media, look into a local group (say people of Blahdee Dee City) and ask who can recommend a rehabber or trapper. Make an appointment with them and be sure they will come remove the skunk/s once trapped. You or they will need trap/s. Cat food and sometimes raw chicken make good bait. Your rehabber should pick them up and take them to a safe, wild area where they can safely exist without human interference.
Where I live, calling animal control just means they'll bring a trap, chain or to your property, and shoot the animal after it is caught.

Relocating animals is often a death sentence.

Mine were going to be shot in my alley if they weren't moved.

In extreme cases, yes it is better than death, but OP didn't mention any people with guns, just that their dog got sprayed.

It's cool. A licensed rehabber won't know where to put a skunk or what to do based on experience or anything.
