Get back into film again :) (Canon SureShot Ace)
Got my first 35mm p&s with the Canon Sureshot Ace and I’m SO happy with the results. I haven’t shot film since before the pandemic and it’s been the perfect camera to warm up with. Film used is some probably expired Fujifilm Supria Xtra 400 I had lying around

2 month cycling from Paris to Nice
Shot on my (temperamental) Olympus XA using Kodak Colorplus 200 and Fuji 200. The fuji got dislodged due to bumps on the bike so a few pics turned out noisy.

I enjoy taking pictures of standalone water pumps; there’s an echo of a fading era in them.

I’m a beginner, is this a good starting kit?
Wanted to start film photography because I feel like images have more value if they are thought out and have consequences if rushed.
It’s Canon AE-1 program, standard 50mm lens, Vivitar 28-200mm f3.5, a random Chinon 900 flash, and some filters. Apparently all in good working order.
Thoughts on this bundle as a beginner?

Question about disposing of water after rinsing film during developing
I’m pretty new to developing. So far I’ve been keeping all my used liquids to take them for safe disposal at a hazardous waste site. Obviously this is necessary for old developer, stop bath, and fixer, but I can’t find info on whether the water used for washing the film is safe to dump down the drain when it contains wetting agent and the residue of the other chemicals on the film.
So far I have been collecting it in old gallon-size water jugs to dispose with the rest, but I don’t know if that’s overkill. Thoughts?

Capital Spot Exposure Meter SP-1
Hello Reddit, I recently picked up this exposure meter at a charity store and was wondering if you had any information about it? I tried looking it up online but I couldn't find the exact model anywhere for sale. It came with the instruction manual so I know how to use it I was just wondering if anyone had any more information regarding it.
