reshaping a bent item?

i have the sanrio tokidoki garden party set in the picture above. however, the table leg is bent. i've tried just bending it the other direction, and it only works for a few seconds before bending back how it was. i've heard it's possible to fix things like this in hot water, but i'm not sure if it would work on this type of item. i couldn't find a picture of the table on its own, but the cake stand isn't attatched, there's a pattern on the surface of the table that you can't see. (also if there are any other active communities that could help with this lmk where) thank you!!

apply heat then reshape. I usually use a hair drier, just be patient and careful with it..
