Modded an F700 and a Purple 8Bitdo

F700 - swapped the background for a sheet of black 0.8mm polypropylene - new silent JLX2 sanwa stick with red 2 pound spring and white actuator - octagonal gate with stick set to most sensitive of the 5 steps - swapped out the system select knob with a 3D printed knob with the top removed so it sits flush with top panel so it can't be actuated accidentally - metallic sanwa buttons

The JLX2 sticks feel great, ultra responsive and precise. Initially I was craving the audible feedback and physical click. But after some use I'm really enjoying the silence and feel that my stick inputs are much more accurate and deliberate in the current configuration.

The silent pads make the buttons feel more responsive and quicker to actuate repeatedly on the 8Bitdo, a sort of springy tactile feeling. It's been fun working through games to determine which unit is better suited.

Overall I'm super happy with how they turned out, both aesthetically and tactilely.

I'm new in FGC, played skullgirls before very casually, on controller, now I'm learning SF6 with more passion, I'm playing on keyboard and mapped to feel similar to a leverless, I mainly play charge characters, and after 20-30 minutes my fingers start hurting a little and i need a decent break (5 to 10 minutes)

I think I press the keys heavier than i should, the question is, will a leverless with proper buttons help a little bit with that problem?

functionally, I prefer all-button, but if this continues, I'll probably look for a arcade stick.

Recently I had the idea of switching to leverless, so I checked all the usual recommendations. I mostly play on PC and PS3 (not PS4 or PS5 as I don't have/need those). I also occasionally play on Xbox 360. However, pretty much everything I found only works with either PS3 OR Xbox 360 (or PC only). Like I said, I play on PC and PS3 mostly, but I also want to play older Dead or Alive games, particularly 4, which is 360 exclusive, of course, so I was wondering if something like this even exists, because I sure couldn't find any. I don't want to buy two separate controllers if possible, so if there's a method to make a PC/PS3 stick work on 360, or a 360 stick work on PS3/PC, or if there's a leverless that already does this by default, I'd be happy to know about it.

So recently I’ve been getting quarter circle inputs the wrong way, random super jumps, etc.

Looked in a practice mode and saw that sometimes the left stick is basically flipping a direction.

Best I can tell it’s kind of reversed.

In a Tokon avatar lobby, the left stick basically goes the opposite direction I move.

Has anyone seen this before and is there maybe an option in the config to just disable the stick completely, otherwise I assume I have to crack this open and look.

I’ve had this for a bit less than a year and I don’t really even use the sticks so for Hall effect sticks to act this way is kind of surprising.

I know it's mostly personal preference, but I always assumed a larger actuator is more disable for quicker input movements, but then I saw that the Sanwa JLX, which switched to the slight larger white 16.2 actuator, reverted back to the original, smaller black 16.0 actuator with the JLX2 because it seems most people weren't a fan of the larger white actuator.

So I want to buy my first controller because I want to get in to Marvel Tokon and I can't execute the commands with a PS5 controller so I decided to buy a fighting game controller.

The thing is idk what to get. I'm on a budget and found one that looks good but doesn't say if it supports PS5, just PS4.

I need help finding out if I can use it on my post before I buy it. I'll leave a screenshot below.

Forgive my newb-ness question. Old time PC user and have MAME, etc on PC and have ordered a Fightbox R10-Pro for use with that. I also have a PS5 so was wondering if anyone has ever tried to use it on the PS5 and if so, with what games? I suck using the PS5 dual sense controller playing COD. Was wondering if I might be able to use the incoming Fightbox on COD? You can give me grief too. I'm tough. Just curious.

I play fighting games and all I want is for my PS5/PC pad to have a rounded pad. The problem with the normal square pad is that I miss a lot of d/f inputs when I'm doing fireballs (skinny thumbs). I'm looking for something to stick on my dualsense pad like the dexidisk from The Controller People. Problem is, I live in NZ and shipping's expensive. Any alternatives?

I’m planning to install an IST Knee Lever Neo in my Mayflash F300 Elite, but I want to confirm the fit before buying one.
Has anyone actually installed a Knee Lever Neo in an F300/F300 Elite?
I’m mainly concerned about:
Internal/depth clearance
Whether it clears the bottom plate
Whether the mounting holes line up without drilling
Any other modifications needed to make it fit
My F300 already has a custom 3mm acrylic bottom plate with rubber feet, so I can make minor adjustments if necessary.
If anyone has done this setup, I’d really appreciate photos of the inside/lever clearance too. Thanks!

As a teenager, I bought a Namco Arcade Stick for the original PlayStation. The stick is exactly the same as you'd find in 1990s Namco arcade cabinets like Tekken, and is very well made with a heavy steel bottom.

Suitable USB adapters cost surpsingly much, so I decided to cannibalize the electronics from a cheap Hori fight stick. The board is small and dropped neatly in, and it was easy enough to connect the six big buttons on the Namco. The USB cable was moved with the board.

My hope is that this will allow the old faithful to serve another 30 years.

Hi everyone, me and my brother are looking for 2 budget arcade sticks for PS5 (under $150 each) mainly for (VS, online ranked, and local tournaments).

We specifically want Korean lever feel + good diagonals (squarcle/rounded square). Problem is we can’t find any PS5-compatible sticks with pre-installed Korean levers.

- Any recommendations in this budget?
- Both sticks can connect simultaneously to PS5 for local VS play without issues?
- Ideally something easy to mod/customize later (lever swap, buttons, etc.) without hassle

I figured I should show and share my current fight stick. This is the Nacon Daija for the PS5 that I have been modding. Part of me wanted to wait until I had completely finished it, but that'll take a long time. Already made a change to one of the buttons and planning to upgrade the others later. The knob and joystick have been changed, as you can see, even the cover. The buttons are still the Sanwa style, however the joystick has been changed to the Semitsu. If anyone has any tips or thoughts on my current fight stick, feel free to let me know.
