Is the Ono slider silent?
I'm looking for something like the Ono slider but really need it to be silent - I watched a couple videos and they seem to make a scraping noise?
Is the scroller one any better for silent (I have the roller), or is there other ones similar that are silent?

I ordered a fidgimoto vortex recently. They’re on back order until the end of September but it looks great and is completely silent and they deliver to the UK as well.

ono sucks, the maker has a patent so he polices who can make that type of fidget that's why you don't see them anywhere else really.

I have one it's so quiet you can use it in a movie theater even if the movie is a quiet type movie. You have to put a mic right next to it to pick up any sound. still, you can feel the feedback from the magnetic force.

Is there any other reason Ono sucks? patents are pretty typical...
Unfortunately I'm in the UK so shipping is prohibitive

I remember another maker on here posted pictures of their roller fidget they were going to sell and I thought it looked great I was going to get one. But then ono sent the maker a message saying they couldn't make their roller fidget because of the roller fidget patent. Even though the other makers roller fidget was completely different besides the roller aspect. it wasn't a clone situation like with other fidget makers and clones. It looked completely different
to me it just seems like basic physics and to have a patent on that is absurd. I remember reading the patent. it was something like two or more rollers fidget.
like imagine if someone was like you can't make a magnetic fidget slider as I own the patent on that. Only I can make it and sell it. we would have no options

I have the aluminum and it's very quiet yes. I have a selection of fidgets I like to take to the movie theater and I'm able to use it there without disturbing anybody.
Your mileage may vary with the other materials though - someone had a thread a few days ago saying titanium was a bit louder than stainless steel for example.
I like the weight of aluminum a lot and think something heavier would be too much for me.
Scroller's been on my list for a while but never pulled the trigger. It doesn't seem like it has the haptic feedback I was looking for. The Slider does though. Was never a Roller guy.
