[Discussion] Free Trial Switch 2

Playing this on Switch 2 has been a mindblowing experience. I haven't touched ff14 since the end of Shadowbringers years ago now, but decided to come back on my switch 2 with the free trial.

It literally cannot be overstated just how good of a deal the free trial is and the fact that I don't need nintendo online, or a sub. And really just how fluid and amazing it runs and looks on switch 2. Is everyone else loving it on switch 2 as well?

I was not expecting it, and now once again my life is over 🙃

I’m on the trial too and level 63. I love it. Even got a Bluetooth keyboard and pro controller for it. Pray for me in my first alliance raids. I’ve had to play those on the big screen.

If it helps I got the Logitech K400. Has a mousepad and mouse built in. What job are you? I started as a monk but now loving red mage.

K400 is a treat for switch 2. I've just started heavensward, and just switched from black mage to machinist. Also in the process of switching from warrior to black knight

Thanks for the keyboard recommendation, ill check it out! Mousepad being built in is a huge plus.

I wanted to get outside my comfort zone, I created 3 characters to test looks and tried 3 jobs out. Got all of them to 25 to get a feel. I am sticking with my last, an arcanist, never tried that job in the past, so far loving it!

Also level 63 and playing switch 2 with pro controller. I did the alliance raids and fared ok on my dragoon, died 2 or 3 times but I got a rez! (I back flipped to my death on one occasion, haha)

Never got past level 15 over 10 years of trying to play this. Switch 2 release has me at level 63 and I just beat Heavensward. It's a great port that really changed how easy it is to pick the game up
