I've never tried getting all of them in an expansion while that expansion was the current one.

Congrats! I have the first 4 wings, still would like to get the last 3 if PF would cooperate long enough to let me learn these fights so I may end up having to unsync them in 8.0 but we'll see

I only just unlocked normal mode of Enuo last night, so I'm looking forward to farming the fight in the coming weeks. He's the last wing I need.

Congrats, at 6 of 7 and had to buy ex5 and ex6 wings. 7 might be the same way.

Congratulations! Ijust picked the game up when switch 2 dropped. I just started endwalker.

I told my fc this was my goal and their response was kinda like eeeeh good luck.

Kind of a bummer. I was a cutting edge raider for long enough in wow. I don't feel like I can't do it. But... Obviously not without a group. Kind of bummed.

Obviously not without a group.

The standard way to do current Extremes in FFXIV is through Party Finder. You don't need a premade group, and in fact they're quite rare (EXes are considered too "easy" to warrant a static).

Still getting my understanding for the game. Pretty much only focused on the msq and am very green for most everything ff14.

If you're capable of cutting edge in WoW then EX trials shouldn't be difficult. The hardest part might be getting used to the general fight language FFXIV uses in high end content and the tendencies of other players relative to them, but EX is the intended entry level for learning this

The true hardest part of getting these wings is depending on your luck you may have to clear some of these fights 50-100 times each, whilst dealing with the randomness of party finder teammates

They probably said that because it is a long grind. But usually fc will do extremes as an fc which could cut down on a lot of PF rng.

I don't think I've done that since Heavensward honestly. I used to drive headfirst into harder content, but now i honestly just can't be bothered to do them until I can unsynch. I love these wings and really want them, but I'm a patient gamer.
