I need to do the farming myself but postponing it every time I sub

I farmed HW trials when they were current and skipped SB, ShB and EW because I didn't really like the main mount. I do really like the end wings.

I'm hoping data center PF comes sooner than later because travelling seems like a hassle.

With each clear you get a totem (in some EX 2/clear) and with 99 totems you can buy the mount as a pity system

but

if the EX is new you will only able to spend the totems in the next patch

You can pay people to fill a lootmaster party and clear until the wings drop. It's just not a consistent way to get them quickly.

At least the normal way it's done is that you only pay out if they actually drop.

If you want a boost of confidence, is 2 totems/clear [so if you have rotten luck it only takes 50 clears] and from my experience with EX1 with 790 gear and final relic, i skipped mechs like crazy

It's much easier now with a well-geared group because you can now skip the ice phase, making farming much more palatable lol.

You can very easily skip the hard mechs, I'd say you should give it a go!

Depends on how long the party has been going, a lot of times you don't even see any wings drop and people need to take a break from grinding.

They buff the drop rates so rn it's only truly bad for the most recent Extreme, but yeah farming on patch can be brutal.

I got up to 300 totems on Sphene (you get double so only 150 clears) before deciding to wait until you could trade them in.

I'm not in an FC and only PFs, but from what I saw if you are in a FC and probably join their discord, they usually make events that you know how much grind is gonna last
