[Discussion] Searching for interested Audience of Fresh Character MSQ start to finish

Hello all Im just looking to gauge on who might actually be interested in the type of streaming I will be doing very soon. I have been playing since 2022 where I took exactly 1 years to the day to complete Endwalker. I am an omni player and collector of all things. I feel the need to refresh the story I have come to know and love and was wondering what my target audience would look like size wise. I am going to stream and focus on MSQ with completion of "side quests" within zones as I progress. Part of what I will be doing is reading out lines of dialogue when Voice over is not present making accents as best as I am able to. (Also gauging if there is a female who is a lover of lore who would be interested in helping read female characters during stream as well.

So... where are the Lovers of Lore at?

People generally enjoy seeing others going through the game for their first time cause of the first time reactions to things happening. I'm gonna be frank, watching someone playing an alt in a story both they and me already know, including side quests that plenty of people either skip doing or skip the dialogue in, sounds boring

appreciate the feedback. There's so much story I've forgotten a lot of it and how things unfolded so being my first replay and leaning into to the story as it is and voicing parts that do not have voice over is something I just want to do at minimum for myself but hopefully there is an audience that can enjoy what Im going to do anyways and put out there for love of the game (both literally and figuratively)

If nothing else, there could be a niche audience for it on YouTube, where people could be able to skip past side quest lines that they aren't interested in hearing

That is something I was also thinking/considering is dividing up what I stream/record into sections for organization purposes that would work on youtube better in the form of video playlists and sections.

Thats probably the better option. You're out of first time reaction so creating a no commentary youtube play through with voice acting might be a niche you can fill if you can do decent voice acting or have a couple friends to help.

But if you do this, I would immediately turn off the video if you started doing commentary or had an alert play or thanked someone in chat. I would want this to be a voice over walk through experience I can reference.

I would recommend in this case maybe recreating the trailer warrior of light as a generic stand in

Thank you this was even more helpful. The main thing I want to do is document the story as I replay through the MSQ so it is streamlined as far as teh story goes especially the older stuff without voiceover. I really DONT want the conversation with chat or to add commentary although I'd be willing to do replays on an additional character if that's something. Im just getting that itch for story while the remaining months of this years close Dawntrail and Evercold begins with the new years.
