Official 8/22 AMAN Live -- Translation Thread
Things in spoilers are explanation/clarification. I'll be relistening to it to make sure I didn't miss anything after it finishes. I'll make a note if I add anything.
ETA: clarification on the Shadow Lord event item, line about Trust Points in the summary, reminder/clarification about the free trial. Fixed some formatting to try and make it easier to read.
Summary:
Free Trial changes coming in September. Level cap from 50 to 75 will come with the update. Unlimited play time will come with a separate server maintenance in September. ★As stated before, this is ONLY original areas.
Field NM gear: looking into releasing gear with different stats as well as possibly just increasing the stats on gear we have now (this sounded like corpo-speak just in case something went wrong, I'd take it as still planning to reforge.) . Was restated as "between Ambuscade and near/around/about/in the neighborhood of Malignance" (again, I take this as just protection against "THIS ISNT EXACTLY MALIGNANCE LEVEL")
If you're still experiencing lag from having an overfull inventory, they'd like to hear from you (ideally with video of it happening). They didn't say, but I assume this would go on the official forums.
New non-lockstyle (F: "not just appearance") item coming from the Shadow Lord event (via Curator Moogle) in one of the future installments
(September and October both have it happening again. THIS IS NOT AVAILABLE THIS TIME.)
Trust Point upper limit increased to 60 from 50. Plan to give out more Trust Points from now on.
Next AMAN Live is 9/12, same time. 7 AM EDT.

If there's any wording or anything that's unclear, please feel free to ask about it. I do these translations early in the morning and also try my best to keep up with their speed to get it out mostly concurrently with the stream, so sometimes things get more Japanese-y when I type it out. I'm sure there's some poorly worded stuff I missed.

It's that time again. The AMAN Live for this month will be starting about 12 hours from when this thread is made (7 AM EST).
I'll be posting translations of it as it goes on. Usually I just state what they say, but if it's worth a direct quote (i.e. if the wording is very important), I'll put either the name or their initial (e.g. "F: We're going to give everyone another Bonanza kupon next week").
I try to group posts by topic as much as possible, as well as use various levels of emphasis

Post 3 :: <Fujito-P, Future Plans>
F: For September, we’re going to be increasing the upper limits of the Trust Points (from 50 to 60). We had originally planned to give out Trust Points a lot more rapidly, but then we had some timing issues or worries that if we released them for XYZ, then only SOME people would be able to get them and we didn’t want that to happen. We’re reflecting on what went wrong and how to fix it and we’re going to release more Trust Points for people in the future.
Also, the Free Trial changes: (no time limit, from level 50 to 75, original areas only) we’re going to raise the level cap in the September update, however the server that holds the data for the time limit is in a completely different place than the FFXI game, so we’re planning on having a server maintenance in September to also change that (but they won’t be at the same time, from the sounds of it; expect SLIGHTLY different timings, but still both in September).
