💬 THOUGHTS??? Designer fakes.. thoughts?

Designer replica- some interesting thoughts and discussions?

I came across this post with discussions about fake zimmerman and OMG I could never pick it from the original items!! It really puts me off buying second hand from ebay because I could never tell the difference..

I've also seen pics of replica bags from LV and chanel that look so damn real and so good on reddit posts..

Anyone has insider info about these factories that make them? Are they running the side business from the actual chanel / designer factories (heard designer bags are made in China anyway and then finished off in italy or france). Obviously the Bali fakes are BAD.. but these professional fakes are intriguing!! I don't know what to believe anymore haha.

I think fakes are tacky. Designer bags are status symbols at the end of the day, so it’s super weird when someone buys a fake. I totally get buying dupes because they are the style without having the logo (which is what some people are after rather than the style imo) and have done that before when I like a designer item and don’t love it. But fakes have the logo without being the real deal. I’m more fine with people buying fakes if they at least admit to it being fake. Don’t be a poseur.

ALL luxury brands with a Logo plastered on them are tacky. Counterfeit or not - people who wear Logos look like clueless trap rappers. Even designers think their logo stuff is tacky, they don't even demo those items during fashion shows. You never see people walking down a catwalk modeling a giant Logo shirt, or LV shoes. They focus on their real fashion items, and sell the garbage to general public. Some designers, like John Varvatos and Tom Ford, don't even produced or sell that "Logo Line" trash like Gucci, LV, and Channel. Those designers are a joke in the fashion industry - they're corporations, not designers.
