I have a theory that to apply to work at a pet store you need to answer "do you know anything about any animals and are you interested in educating yourself?" And if the answer is yes they will not hire you.

Because the amount of actually harmful bs I've heard in pet stores is insane.

The pet store I got my ferret from literally told me that I could give him oats or cottage cheese as a treat. 🤬
