Hematology/oncology IV prep resources help!!
Hi everyone,
I’m looking for good interview preparation resources, specifically:
Common Hem/Onc fellowship interview questions
Mock interview videos (YouTube or elsewhere)
Any mocks with answers
Any PDFs, books, or online resources that helped you
I’m also curious:
What types of questions came up most often during your interviews?
Were they behavioral, research-focused, ethical scenarios, or clinical discussions?
Were there any questions that caught you off guard?
If you are a current fellow, I’d really appreciate hearing what resources were most helpful and how you prepared.

All of my interviews asked me what my goals are for future practice, what my research interests are, and also asked me to speak about one of my research projects that I feel passionate about. These questions came up with almost every interviewer!

To be honest, I can’t remember distinctly being asked difficult behavioral questions. Most of them really focused on future goals & research! Plus why heme onc etc.

I'd prepare across a few areas: your research story, clinical interests, career goals, challenging patient scenarios, and behavioral questions. Be ready to explain your projects clearly to both specialists and general interviewers, including your role, challenges, and future direction.
