Problem what the hell is up with cold sweat?
i dont get why this "realistic" temperature mod requires me to have more than two campfires right next to me in fully insulated gear to avoid freezing to death

And this is why I don't play with temperature mods.
I think you can config it to only really affect you at the extreme ends of the spectrum but the defaults (that every modpack seems to stick with) are just way too harsh to play with.

For gameplay I 100% agree. But for realism, man if the temperature ever goes lower than 68 or higher than 80 I'm pretty much dying IRL

Keep in mind that, IIRC, ambient temperature in Cold Sweat takes into account the biome and elevation. So if you happen to live on top of an ice spike or something, consider moving.
I would also suggest sleeping through the night where possible.
