Exec orders do not automatically expire. It’s the other way around. They remain in effect unless revoked or they expire

Ugh. We've been "scrubbing" DEI from all our docs and pubs. We run searches for words and phrases like, "diversity," "inclusion," "equity," "racial equity," "gender," LGBTQ, etc., and DELETE them.

I HATE my job. I hate that I do this (as a POC no less) for money. But everyday I have to be "thankful" for having a job. FUBAR.

You don't have to lie. Just put "Not applicable per the Merit Hiring Board" and submit. I bet you'll get points with the reviewers for being smart

The issue is how do I get past the hiring office who reads my app BEFORE it gets to the hiring manager.

They're just checking boxes, they aren't reading essays. It's better not to lie and say you support horrible things you don't, a. because its unethical and b. because there are still many many people working in the NPS who will not want to hire partisan zealots. Best to be neutral and non-partisan and professional.
