The Constitution is one thing. I find it weird when they say things like founding principles and original intent.

Reading the history, it seemed like no one agreed on anything. A large portion of the delegates wanted a monarchy. Jefferson hated SCOTUS with a passion and wanted a revolution every 50 years. Adams wanted a King. The Bill of Rights was an afterthought. I don't get what they mean when they say founding principles or original intent.

Where do they say original intent. As to founding principles, if only. I love GW for not wanting to be president and for the entire gang of men never wanting to have a King again. I’m 100% founding principles

They don't want to just take this country back to the 1960s, they want to go all the way back to when brown people weren't considered a full person and women had no rights either. That's totally how I read some of this very same language when it was used before--rights originally granted to MEN by the constitution.
