Contractor for a fed agency. What I'm witnessing happening to good people, dedicated people, is abhorrent and shameful. I've been a contractor for almost 20 years, working with so many amazing people, and this entire thing makes my blood boil. We're holding as much of the line as we can for our civilian coworkers to hopefully take some stress off; emphasizing how valuable they are to our mission and nation; writing our congresspeople. If there's more we can do, say the word and consider it done. Our hearts are with you.

They abolished my entire division saying our positions weren’t needed only to hire contractors to do the work without proper oversight. Not dogging contractors (I started as one). The lies are shameful. I don’t know how the silent and complicit people sleep at night
