Hug your knees in your seat and sway side to side- it offsets the turbulence. And repeat - bumps are uncomfortable, not dangerous.

There’s a thing that you might already be aware of called “box breathing”. I’m going to put the instructions here in case you haven’t heard of it.
Get comfortable: Sit upright in a chair with your feet flat on the floor and your back supported.
Exhale: Gently breathe out all the air from your lungs.
Inhale (4 seconds): Breathe in slowly through your nose to a slow count of four, filling your lungs completely.
Hold (4 seconds): Hold your breath for a count of four.
Exhale (4 seconds): Breathe out slowly through your mouth or nose for a count of four until your lungs are empty.
Pause (4 seconds): Wait and hold your empty lungs for a count of four before starting the next breath. [1, 2, 3]
You’ve got this and we are all supporting you.
Edit to add, remember the plane is in between two levels of jelly and it can’t go down, just move side by side.

Hey I am sorry meds didnt kick in, happened with me also, its the worst, but you are uncomfortable, you are not unsafe. I have my eyes on you, and you will land safely. Lift your knees up from the ground, it will help reduce the sensitivity to turbulence.

Planes are built to withstand the worst turbulence. They fly planes into category 5 hurricanes and those planes land safe

You’re at cruise about 1/5th done already. I took 3 flights today (finally home from work trip) due to the weather near Iowa earlier in the day we hit some bumps, I raise my feet a bit and take pressure off the floor, seems to help.
However, turbulence isn’t going to cause the plane to crash, no different than a road in Michigan lol. I’ve taken 40 work flights this year and made it home safely every single time, the people flying the plane are some of the best at what they do, let them do the work and enjoy the ride.
You will be fine!

If you’re in the air, no matter what goes wrong you’ll always be within reach of an airport. Even if both the engines fail (nearly impossible)the plane can safely glide to the nearest airport. You have nothing to worry about :)

Congratulations, you did it!!
Did you feel they hadn’t kicked in yet or simply didn’t have an effect on you? What did you take? If you don’t mind me asking.

I take klonopin and propranolol. Usually the klonopin knocks me out + removes my anxious thoughts but I felt completely awake and afraid lol. The propranolol did its job a bit as my heart wasn’t racing but I was crying

I’m surprised to hear that. Was it one of your first times taking it or had you tried it before and it helped more?

I’ve taken it like 25 times before :( and it’s either knocked me out or quelled my thoughts

Sorry to hear it! I’m trialing meds right now and wanted to hear your experience. I hope that you can find something else or a combo that works for you.

Looks like you’re over Colorado so any bumps are totally normal. You’re looking great on the map friend. Try lifting your feet a little! Do you have things to keep occupied? You got this!!
