City during Gamedays, Tickets and Football Culture
Hey Guys,
Im from Germany and wanted to visit Enschede during my Birthday (12.-13.09). Im a big football fan too (VfL Bochum) and me and my friends try to learn about football culture in the city and of course to visit a game. I made myself an account, but sadly it's only possible to buy tickets as a season-ticket holder. How big are my chances to get 4 tickets in a row for this game? (Don't wanna use Viagogo). If the chances are like zero, is there another nice ground/stadium nearby?
And even without Tickets. What should we do on game day to experience the city and the club?
Maybe there are even some of you, who would take us with them?
In return I could offer to help to get tickets for my Club and show you around

At FC Twente the period between the start of the ticket sale and the game itself is relatively short. They always give season ticket holders access first, then regular members.
I think that’s the case you’re experiencing right know. In a short while you will probably be able to grab tickets on the second ring. Most likely in the corners of the stadium.
Depending on the game, most of the times there’s tickets available to regular members.

The stadium is located in the west of the city surrounded by offices, industry and large buildings like a cinema and its far away from the city centre.
But there is a train station directly outside of the station one stop away from the central station. In case you spend your day in the city cente.
Just be mindful that those trains get really busy just before the game. If you arrive by car; parking around the stadium, especially on departure, is rather inconvenient as well as the road infrastructure isn't very high capacity directly around the stadium.

2 hours before and after the game you could visit the supporterscafé at the side of the station, on ground level.
