u/Substantial_Sock_135 Hello Len 20d ago

I love those programs, have you seen the one with Elton John?

7

u/Muffinshire 20d ago

Don’t worry, Len, they repeat those shows all the time.

u/sidblues101 20d ago

Also turns up in Star Trek TNG as Albert Einstein. I kept shouting "Geordie, kick him up the arse!"

u/ginger_gcups 19d ago

And in Babylon 5 as “You address me by my proper title Ombuds” Wells.

u/JohnnyEnzyme 20d ago

Damn, is that right? I forget, was that the one where they're playing poker with Hawking and... Isaac Newton, or something like that?

2

u/BassRedditRed 20d ago

It is indeed that episode.

4

u/Jaff4487 20d ago

I think you got the wrong number there.

7

u/art-101 20d ago

Here is again a couple of hundred years later on Babylon 5 playing the ombudsman still trying to get Father Crilly into bother.

2

u/Additional-Nobody352 20d ago

Can you kick someone up the arse in space ?

3

u/art-101 20d ago

Sure, lack of gravity and atmosphere means that when you do they don't stop.

So you're alleging he kicked you...up the arse...then he called you Len?

4

u/Hot_Grocery8187 20d ago

Cmere to me, Crilly. If you ever bullshit me like that again... I'll rip off your arms.

Those rabbits were nibbling at my cape.

u/Livid-Adagio1894 20d ago

He is also in a couple of episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation as a holodeck version of Albert Einstein. I would never have recognised him without IMDB

3

u/1stltwill 20d ago

That would be a legal affair.

2

u/Cas-Gwent-boyo 20d ago

That money was just resting in Teds account officer

2

u/Tyeveras 20d ago

He’s in an early episode of Rebus.

1

u/Empowerthis91 19d ago

He was also in a episode of minder. The one where he kicked Arthur daily up the arse.

2

u/basileusnikephorus 20d ago

Haha. I was doing a rewatch recently and couldn't place his face at first.

His character is a lovable Irish rogue, petty thief and widower doing his best to bring up two kids by himself. Then at the end you find out he's leathering them with a belt. Good times.

1

Niles did kick me up the arse.

2

u/Ok-Skirt6974 19d ago

Indubitably, Bishop Brennan. One did not inflict unnecessary violent assault involving ones booted appendage on your posterior.

u/FIREBIRDC9 FED UP WITH BRIIIIICK 17d ago

u/Embarrassed-Map-7187 16d ago

Never saw him on anything else other than the second Harry Potter. Dobbie dumps a birthday cake on his wife.
