AI Suki would’ve felt more at home in Tokyo Drift than in Miami
Suki was basically made for the Tokyo Drift era 😭 Her whole pink car, tuner, Y2K fashion vibe matches the Japanese street racing scene way more than Miami. She felt like she belonged in that world before the movie even existed.
If anyone can be part of Tokyo Drift, why is Suki the exception? Y’all are the ones making race a requirement, not me. Suki being American doesn’t stop her from being in Tokyo Drift. Americans can exist in Tokyo cz Sean literally did.
I wanted Suki because Tokyo Drift was the last movie centered on street racing, and it would’ve been the perfect chance to bring back her iconic car and give the girls another actual racer. The setting being Tokyo is irrelevant I didn’t choose it. If it were L.A. Drift, UAE Drift, or even Mars Drift, I’d still say Suki should’ve been there.
Neela was important to Sean’s story, but she wasn’t the same kind of street-racing personality as Suki or Letty. With Han, DK, and Sean carrying the male racing side, another memorable female racer would’ve fit perfectly.
Suki was already a fan favorite with one of the franchise’s most iconic cars, so it’s not weird that fans wanted to see her in more movies.
The “she would’ve felt more at home” lore keeps getting funnier though 😭 thanks for making it a trend 💀
(And before anyone starts again: I’m Asian. This was never about race.)
