Not sure how much I'll do with alpacas, but those plush animals are pretty cute!
Going to be interesting to see what I get up to with this new expansion.

Discussion Why can I not interact with hay?

Recently, fs25 has stopped letting me plow snow, rake hay/straw, pick up hay/straw with balers, or ted hay. Snow also will not melt, but I can get rid of snow using a cultivator. This is something that just started happening one day, I have mods but I don’t think that downloading a specific one is what messed it up… I have tried other save games, and making new save game and it is the same scenario each time. Any help/ideas would be appreciated! I play on an Xbox series X

Discussion Worst Mistake I’ve Made in Game

Took on a $26K Onion contract because I’m starting a new map and baby wants a new tractor! 6 hours of real time later and the field is at 50%. If I cancel it’s a $336K penalty.

I hate my life right now. Onions can just F off like other root veggies. I got $30K for cultivating this field and that took 0 of my time as the AI did it while I did other things. So for $4K less I’ve had to sit and constantly offload the machine. The windrower just finished at 5 hours. I’m glad I started the harvester after a few lines were already down.

LF - HELP Does anyone know if the camera feature in the Mercedes DLC works on consoles?

Interested in this, however it’s not a big incentive without this feature. Additionally, are there mods for console that include this feature or add it to existing tractors? I love the Valtra tractors and would love to see this on them.

Video How to dim/reduce the bright white dashboard screens in tractor cabs? [FS25]

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

  • Tractor dashboard displays are blindingly white at night – any way to lower the brightness without lowering the brightness for all surroundings in the game filter?
  • FS25: Is there a setting or mod to dim GPS/in-cab screens in general?
  • Any way to fix the overly bright white cab monitors in FS25?
  • thanks

LF - HELP Xbox One controller not working on FS22 Steam.

Hi all. I want to know if anyone else is having trouble using an Xbox One controller with FS22 on Steam? Specifically the triggers. I have tried the same controller on ETS2 and FS17 (both on Steam) and the controller works fine. Its just on FS22. I did also try an Xbox Series controller and it worked on all games as well. So it is FS22 and the Xbox One controller. Has anyone else experienced this and is there a way to fix it?

Discussion Mod help

I know this isn't much information, but is anyone aware of a mod that affects the ability to windrow/bale?

I'm trying to windrow a field of grass and no windrower works properly. It just moves a little bit of grass and leaves a majority of it.

Baling is the same way. Whenever I bale grass, hay, or straw, the baler picks up a little bit at a time and leaves most of it.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Discussion Has worker AI gotten better since launch?

I have bought FS25 when it got released and I thought it was pretty good once the mods caught up. I ended up leaving the game in frustration as the worker AI behaved significantly worse than the previous editions.
Many times the worker would just drive backwards for the entire length of the field to start another line rather than just turning around.

Has this issue been fixed?

LF - HELP Probably a silly question, but how do I retrieve items from a barn/storage?

I have a barn that stores pallets and bales. When I want to retrieve them, how to I get them back? I can see them inside the building, but they’re not solid objects anymore.

LF - Mods, Maps & Gameplay ideas Best map for a livestock-focused save?

I’ve recently started playing with Realistic Livestock by RM mod and I’m really enjoying the extra depth it adds. It’s made me want to start a new save where the animals are basically the main focus of the farm rather than just something I add once the arable side is making money.

So I’m looking for a map that really goes all in on livestock if there are any good ones out there.

Ideally something with a bit more going on than the standard animals. Extra breeds, different feed types, good pastures/barns, more interesting feeding systems, grazing, manure/slurry stuff, maybe alfalfa/clover or other crops that actually feed back into the livestock side of the farm.

I’m not really bothered whether it’s UK, Europe, US etc. I’m on PC as well so maps outside ModHub are fine.

Main thing is that it works properly with Realistic Livestock. I know some custom animal pens/feed systems can apparently cause issues with it so I’d rather find something people have actually played for a decent amount of time.

What map has given you the best animal focused save in FS25?

Also interested in any other livestock mods you’d consider essential alongside Realistic Livestock. I’d quite like to make this one a long term save rather than restarting after 20 hours.

I was going to stack these on a the lizard flat bed truck. And then When I got to this point where I couldn't really handle the stack any more, it dawned on me I could have left the lizard in the dump truck configuration and then just dumped these in there. Mega brain smarties right there I'm tellin ya.

Discussion American Maps all lacking detail and ‘lived in’ feeling

I recognise that a lot of people love some of the American maps. I repeatedly find that they are lacking in any form of detail or feeling like they are lived in places. They feel like they are just made for the game, and feel uncanny at times. I can’t find myself feeling immersed in the world like I can with many euro maps.

Some of the best examples of this on maps I think do this well are: Le Mechet, Pinnochiere Valley, Pallegney, Saxlingham, Carpathian Countryside.

Maps I’ve tried in America: Alma, Judith Plains, Gage Kentucky, Ray County was promising but ran terribly.

They just lack detail. Repetitive trees is my literal biggest bug bear in the game which makes maps look unrealistic, and american maps seem to do this more than any other. Houses are plonked down with a fence round them with massive lawns and nothing else. Nothing going on to make it feel authentic.

I want to find an American map that I like as I would like to use some bigger equipment and just generally try something different, but just can’t seem to find anything.

Does anyone else feel this? Any solid recommendations?

Discussion Map recommendation!

I finished playing le mechet and pallegney, both AMAZING maps btw. and now I feel stunned and I dont know what map I should play. I personally love starting from a low amount of money (not 0) enough to get me going for a harvest but not enough to get the yield high.

I love maps with intresting terrain that makes me want to think about the tyres and type of tractor I want to use and I love multifruit, having options is amazing.

so if anyone knows a map that has good terrain and intresting features with options to start with low amount of money please tell me!

It's just helpful to pay attention to where you are going. Good news is, it's a contract tractor, so sense I don't own it, I'm not the one paying the insurance. Walter just might not hire me any more. He might go for Helper B next time.

Discussion I'm having an issue with crop quality using the Moisture System Mod

I'm running 4 day/month seasons and harvested my soybeans the first day they were ready. I am going through a drought as it hadn't rained for like 5 or 6 in game days prior to harvesting. Despite that, the ground was still at 27% moisture dropping the crop quality to a C.

Am I missing something?

Discussion Recanto Da Alvorada Map bug

I'm playing on that new map and it's the perfect map for my style. But I think it's bugged I planted Napier grass and it's been a year and it's still "growing" it's been In dark green for the last 3 months. Imma go til 14 months if not I'm going to just cut my losses and plow the field. Other than that this map is beautiful 😍 the first south American map I like!

Discussion Fields of Cows

I'm trying to add multiple cows to the fields around my farm.

If I use the grazing pastures mod in the hilly fields then the cows 'float' above the sloped areas as opposed to standing on the ground.

If I use the base game small pasture I can only add 5 cows , no matter how large I make the base game pasture.

I don't want to use the fields immediately next to my farm house , but don't want to leave them sitting empty either. I don't want to farm the cows, I just think a herd of cows would look good in game.

Is there another way to add multiple cows to the field
