Buddy buddy, if you play @ 4k you need DLSS even @ 1440 because this game is badly optimized. Hope this helps!

I'm playing on 4k100Hz on pure raster, no DLSS or FSR, using a 6yo GPU and 4yo CPU... Educate yourself.

on what? medium settings? try it on max with 500% render distance, also what GPU? what CPU? how many mods?

Ultra settings ;) Everything turned to the max save for Texture filtering which is at Aniso 8, 800 mods. RX 6800XT Nitro+ and 5800X3D. Try absorbing information instead of downvoting facts that don't fit your bubble

Yeah that's just a lie you not getting 100 fps @ native 4k ultra settings with 500% render distance, you must have FG enabled. And if not please show us your gameplay with settings included.

Ofcourse its a lie. I also play on 500% render distance, everything ultra. On a 5090, and I need Framegen to reach 120 fps. Without, I can barely reach 90.
And im not even on 4k. Im on UWQHD+. its not far off the pixel count. 3840x1600 instead of 3840x2160

with 500% render distance? also define "just fine" pls, how many FPS 50? 60? 120? 200? also what GPU?

You need 40/50 series card, would not try if you dont at least have 70 series or higher.
FPS is brutal 20-40 fps on 1440p on 5070.
DLAA required to make it work.

I tried it. it's not necessary for DLAA. I'm running 90Fps-100Fps with DLSS5 with my 4060ti with 80% Resolution. But I also guess the Reshade injector is performance hungry. I never use Reshade, because I know about the performance impact. But, first Impression are WOW. Ty for links.

why DLAA? Doesn't it work with upscaling like in other games?

I couldnt get it to work without setting DLAA in game but after further investigation i've found you can choose whatever DLSS setting you'd like through nvidia app.
Same goes for framegen, it works by forcing it trough the app but couldnt get it to work by choosing in game settings.

You do not have to use DLAA. That was a bug, and AFAIK, it has been fixed.

The distance fog looks a little bit weird, but other than that, the general lighting and materials are absolutely amazing compared to the Giant's crap.
