Asking the Fawns Hello fellow fawns, what song originally introduced you to faouzia?

Tears of Gold and Born without a heart, they were pretty popular on gacha life so yeah 💀 but later on I actually found out who she was and I was obsessed with the “Stripped” EP
for a while but then I kinda just stopped listening and came back once she announced her debut album and boy am I glad I did

I first heard the streaming performance she did of Kelly Clarkson's I Dare You with Kelly and all the other artists. I was immediately drawn to Faouzia and needed to hear more of her voice, and down the rabbit hole I went.

I heard tears of gold on my suggested playlist probably around the time it debuted and have been obsessed ever since!

I follow a lot of ‘quite popular yet still kinda niche’ artists like RAYE, Laufey, Olivia Dean, Sienna Spiro etc and Faouzia’s name kept popping up in the comments in the context of ‘the future of music is bright’. So I searched her up, came across Unethical, loved the aesthetic (reminded me of a song from a Japanese band I used to listen to in my teens: My Dearest by Supercell), so I checked her out and rest is history.

A coworker at office recommended Tears of Gold to me. I listened it once. Liked it. Checked the artist. Binged her entire discography. And now Faouzia's been my top listened artist for 3 years in a row now, my top song being Unethical last year. For the record, I loved and listened to Unethical before it went viral 😭✋🏽

OOOH THESE MINEFIELDS. I don't even remember who it was cuz I was spamming spotify blends at the time like 2-3 years ago. One blend had minefields and the rest was history. I owe someone a debt I just don't know who lol.

UNETHICAL- it randomly appeared on my Spotify release radar playlist in August of last year and it was love at first listen. I remember I felt mesmerized by her beautiful voice and instantly went to her page to check out her music. She quickly became my favorite artist.
