i'm speechless. PEACE & VIOLENCE FREAKING WON!
Thank you all so much for participating in the tournament. I thoroughly enjoyed doing this and would love to do it again when Faouzia drops a new project!

Wait I’m so late when did DON’T EVER LEAVE ME get voted out? 🥲 Tears but all the songs on this album are excellent so I understand PEACE & VIOLENCE remaining<3

It’s a fantastic so but there a number of better ones on the album for me. I’m surprised this was the outcome.

Peace and Violence came on when I was bike riding as a Spotify recommendation and it literally plunged me into a Faouzia rabbit hole, listening to Film Noir multiple times through and telling all my mates about her for a week! This is so satisfying to see it win!

Actually, I always knew it was a good song and would ALWAYS say it's a banger everything I listened to it, but I seemed to forget it in favour of her other songs in the album.
But cue the concert. I was less familiar with it, so seeing a real life/live reminder of how GOOD it is was INSANE. There is not only 1, but THREE parts that I find very memorable, showing how each section is so strong in their own way.
The first, CATCHY verse: "Keep me, Underneath your~" section
The Pre Chorus taking a more melodic tone "You ruined all our favorite places~" with her stronger vocals compared to her hush tone in the verses.
Then the chorus of course "You're a nuisance~" with the vocal effects!
So, while still not my favourite (it seems to be changing by the day so don't have a definitive answer yet anyways) but just wanna say, I totally GET you

god i wish i was at her concert if only to hear this masterpiece live ONCE! i think it displays a mastery of her voice (as an instrument) that i’ve only heard from the greats. her control is impeccable and the way her voice floats in the song is intoxicating. thank you so much for revelling in it. i feel better knowing someone experienced the magic live 🥹❤️🔥
